The Meeting

The 2024 VIP Consortium Meeting will be held Thursday-Friday, May 9-10, in Atlanta Georgia, with a workshop for early-stage and prospective sites on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 8. The meeting is aimed at current, emerging, and prospective VIP Directors and Coordinators, as well as key stakeholders at their institutions. The meeting is highly participatory with a focus on peer-to-peer exchange. Most meals will be provided, and hotel costs will be covered for up to two guests from each institution if they register/book their rooms by the posted deadline (April 3-5).

Last year, the student poster session was well received. The tentative number of students is 10-20, with 5-10 institutions bringing 2 students each.

Call for Abstracts

The 2024 VIP Consortium Program Group invites abstracts for presentations and interactive sessions. Presenters can submit individual or collaborative abstracts. Selected abstracts/presenters are usually grouped into sessions, and co-presenters will be encouraged to develop their sessions together. Sessions can involve presentations, breakout activities/discussions, and collective working/planning/problem solving. Sessions that involve active participation are a hallmark of the annual Consortium meeting and are especially welcome. VIP site profile presentations and team spotlight presentations will follow a traditional conference format, with time allocated for each presenter.
