For School of Physics students:
Up to six credits in any combination of undergraduate student research and VIP can be counted as (physics) technical electives, provided that the research/VIP course involves at least one faculty member or adjunct faculty member from Physics.
Other VIP classes may be approved for physics elective credit upon review by the School's Undergraduate Committee.
All credits beyond six are free electives.
Please check with your academic advisor if you have any questions on how credits count.
